International programme

ICID organises every third year a World Congress to deliberate on global issues related to irrigation and drainage. 

In the intervening years regional conferences are organised on themes appropriate to the region.

Every year the International Executive Council of ICID meets in a different country and this meeting is linked to either the World Congress or one of the Regional Meetings.
